Is blogging dying?

The main idea of the article "To Blog or not to Blog" is to explain her theory that blogging is going to decrease and facebook will eventually increase. Based on the stats people generally dont blog anymore. Blogger Sheila Shayon, describes the difference between blogging, facebook, and social networking sites. My perspective on the issue is that blogging will eventually die because of the new social media like Twitter and Facebook where its designed for you to either say how you feel about something or talk about whats going on around you. New social media is coming up with ways that you can express yourself through words w/o writing long blogs.

How did the photographer use “Six Appeal” to help viewers get the “message” from this picture? What IS the message?

The photographer uses the "Six Appeals" to help the viewers get the message from this photo because they have use of imagery by using the child as the subject. There's typography found on his shirt with the message that the photographer is trying to get out to the people. The grid of the subjects on the photo keeps your eye on the child and the message on his shirt. The format of the writing allows you to be able to understand and read the writing clearly. The message of this photograph is to help fix the immagration sysytem for the children.
